As you can
see from the title the concept is quite unusual… be ready because the mail is quite
long, anyway it explains “in short” my idea.

The
project is based on a mutual collaboration between me and the model: the model
will interpretate the pose starting from a concept that we discuss together,
being free to add her own ideas into it, and my part is to trying to add some
specific mood, accordingly to what we would like to achieve.

Ideal is
that the model will take the photo as self portrait, without the help of
anybody.

Therefore
the model and photographer (which should be both yourself) will send me the
original full resolution file, not edited and finally I create something out of
it.

As you can
see I underline a lot the work “together” because my wish is to get something
very specific and a real collaboration. This is not a photomanipulation
starting from a stock photo: if I wanted to do so I had tons of ref images to
use, and I would not invest time in trying to go on with this concept.

In this
mail you find some attachments, divided in folders: those are reference photos
(not mine) which I liked and would indicate as guidelined for the model
to followup in oder to come out with something similar.

Here you
have some main point which maybe will answer some questions:

Light set up and conditions:

Of course,
most of them are made by a professional photographer in a studio: so light
conditions, quality is usually the best. In my project instead, eventual
mistakes could be welcomed somehow – or better let’s say that I am not
expecting to have the perfection of a studio. I will add mood with a more
massive or little editing, this will change respect to the pose and mood.

For the
light, ideal is sun light or normal one, but in case a desktop lamp is enough.

Important
is the high resolution of the
pict... and as possible no pixel/grana visible. Try to make it as clear as
possible - I will add all the effects afterwards, no need to have them in the
original photo.

Makeup:

you can
choose to have it or not: only don’t worry about "special" make up
cause if it is fine for you it can be completely virtual depending on the mood
we decide to give to the overall scene, and if possible just tie up your hair
so that the pose and body will have a major relevance and I will be able then
to add the hair as a "post". As add on, you could try also to use a
hair dryer or a “ventilator” to move your hair and get the wind effect, which I
also like a lot.

Background:

should be
ideally in a monocolor (white is the best, but not mandatory). A white wall
would be perfect. Of course I will add the room part, editing from different
picts but you don’t have to worry about getting the same result in the original
photo.

Now some
comments about the attachments:

Room:

Please
have a look at the photo “room.jpg” in attachment: this photo will probably be
the background on which I will put your figure and trying to create and
homogeneous look&feel. Just consider that space as yours: there you can
invent all you like and feel... to be subject of the room. I offer the space,
you intherpret it as you like. You are now the actress and feel free to pose as
you wish: you can have a melanchlic mood, looking on the camera or not, etc. Accordingly
to your input and suggestion, I will then change or add effects to the
overhall.

As you can
see a whole figure is needed here. But, if you have no much space in your
home7the place where you shoot and will be more confortable for you to shoot
half figure, then I can easily change the background with a wal or something
else.

Mood:

Please see
the “mood.zip” compressed folder (you should be able to unzip it
easily,otherwise I can send you the photos one by one) I must explain that
those are not my works, but something I found & collect from the internet
just to explain the mood I wish to reach in the end

Pose:

Please
have alook at the “pose.zip” folder: again you will find there a collection of
photos (not mine) which offer you some ideas on interesting pose to use: if you
like any of them or wish to take suggestion from them do not heaitate to do so.

But for
both, mood and pose you can feel free to add and use your own idea.

Consider
that you can be standing, in front or back position, and you can even for
example sit on a chair: I don’t mind, we will see how to make anything you
invent to fit in this or another background.

Nudity:

I understand
this may be a strong topic, especially if a perfect stranger is coming out with
a request to take a self pict of a perfect stranger girl.

Anyway, I
hope to explain it all in the best way: you can choose to be nude or not, to
show or not what you like and feel. I mainly need to underline the pose (which
should be unusual, this you can notice also from the list of favourites which I
have on Deviantart and the suggestions I sent you attached to this mail) therefore
if you prefer to wear anything please consider to have maybe something like a
summer dress or light clothes.

My target with
this project is not “to show intimate places around” (I guess there are enough
doing this already) but to get a strong emotive result, out of the typical
fairy tale and to make something as much as possible similar to reality with my
manipulations.

In any
case no to porno nude.

Copyright:

We would share
the copyright of the final image: you as being model and photographer of yourself,
me for editing and create something, maybe interesting, out of it. You have the
right to post the pict where you like.

What I
only ask you, in
case you accept to do the project together, is to take the photo only for
this specific project and not reuse the same original photo or to post it around
(or at least do not consider it as a public stock photo... that would make
cheaper our joint effort) so that the work would be unique. I hope you agree on
this.

Budget:

At the
moment there is no budget tought for this specific project, and I am not going
to be payed to provide any work “on demand” about this concept: therefore
consider it as a self promotion project for both of us.
